Day in the Life: Quarantine Edition

Hey, friends! My original post for today was going to be a day in the life since we would be in week three of school. Turns out, we missed all of last week due to quarantine. I decided to document a day in the life last week. We never left the house. We never saw anyone. It's boring...but it's what last week looked like for us. We were quarantined for ten days. We're finally free!

Next time I'll pick a day where we have a normal schedule!

Normally, my alarmg goes off at 4:30 during the week but since I couldn't go to the gym, I slept in until Travis got up for work. On this particular day, it was 6:45.

This one came into our bed at 6 am and asked for Paw Patrol and apple juice but I told him to wait until Dad got up and he fell back asleep....

The morning can begin once I have coffee and peyton has his apple juice.

Time to try and look presentable for my day, at home with my children. ;)

Okay...ready for the day! Comfy was a must!

Peyton was happy as could be with his show and apple juice.
Waiting for his brother and sister to wake up.

I grabbed a second cup of coffee and made a quick order for things I was out of or running low on from BeautyCounter!

Made myself a breakfast....these egg bites from Costco are my favorite!

I thought I heard sister, but she was clearly still sleeping...

I started washing all the kids' bedding....

Peyton asked me to snuggle him until everyone else woke up...

Breakfast for the kiddos.

Followed by an art project. We made cards to send to Veterans.

FaceTime with Jo, Papa, and Taylor!

We spent a lot of time playing....

Dad was amazing and brought us corndogs for lunch so I didn't have to make anything...

Now, time for naps. Rocking this one...

This one read for thirty minutes while his brother and sister napped and then could do whatever he wanted until they woke up.

Tucking this cutie in...

We had pizza for dinner because it was the first BSU game of the season...

We had a special delivery on the front porch from Aunt Theresa! Movies and books to help us through quarantine!

Followed by showers for all the kiddos....

We all tried to watch some baseball....

But ended up putting a movie on for the littles...

At nine, we had lights out. Tucked them all in....

Watched some more football before calling it a night...

Washed my face and got ready for bed.

In bed before ten! Normally, I watch Friends or something but this night I was tired so it was lights out as soon as my head hit the pillow!

Whew! There you have it! I want to thank everyone who asked us if we needed anything, dropped off treats or goodies, or called to check on us! We're so blessed with family, friends, and neighbors. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Just curious how Travis was able to avoid quarantine?

Since he’s fully vaccinated, he doesn’t have to quarantine unless he showed symptoms. He was lucky enough to not ever get sick! 😊
