Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! It's been a very busy week over here. Lots of birthday celebrations! We've had a great week and here are some favorites...

This girl is spoiled but we can't help it! She loves going in the car but I don't like that she scratches the center console in my car. So, I found this adorable bed that hooks into the car and "seatbelts" her on it. Now, she stays on the bed and it's high enough that she can see out! It's a win for both of us.

The bed is also on sale right now too!

Colson has been attending catching clinic for several months now and he's loving it! He is falling in love with baseball again and it makes me so happy. Last summer, he took off the summer from playing and he admitted that he missed it. This year, he is playing on a select team and he's thriving! It is very time consuming but it's really making him a better player. It's also helping to shape him into a good person, I love that sports help kids learn so many lessons that will help them throughout their lives.

I was able to substitute this week at the kid's elementary school. I sure love being in the school and watching all their friendships. It's such a blessing!

It's been a busy week celebrating some of my favorite people and that includes Kacie! We went to dinner at a new to me restaurant and it was so good! I love celebrating the people I love!

Peyton's favorite person in the world is his Dad. So copying every move he makes is one of his favorite things to do! It makes my heart heart happy and I hope he always looks at his Dad this way!

I hope you've had a great week!

Friday Favorites

Hello and happy Friday, friends! We made it through our first week back to school. I will say that as much as I love having my kids at home, being back in a routine is so nice!

Here's some favorites from our week.

Colson's favorite time of the week is when he gets to play sports. For that, I'm thankful he's playing year round baseball. He loves hitting lessons with his Coach Paul and it's doing so good for him!

I'm doing my best to get my steps in and the easiest way for me to do that is walk after I drop the kids off. It's Daisy's favorite too. She loves when I take her on walks!

I added a weighted vest and it's amazing! This one has great reviews and I love that it's small. I got a 12 pound vest and it's a great weight to start with.

My least favorite part of my week was when this girl scratched her eye with a bone! What?! That required an emergency vet visit...at least it's expected to heal and she'll be good as new after a week of antibiotic!

The little ones had an impromptu play date after school one day and had the BEST time! Thankful for friends that live close so things like this can happen.

The most heartbreaking scene from California this week. I can't even begin to imagine this. Praying for all of those who have been affected by this terrible fire. Praying for those who are fighting the fire. And praying for those who are making decisions on when the right time to leave behind their homes. Praying for rain, lots and lots of rain.

I hope you've all had a wonderful week.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends. I'm back to blogging after a long hiatus and missing putting words to paper. Or out on the internet. I'm linking up and sharing some favorites from the week!

Travis and I purchased new bedroom furniture and it was finally delivered this week! I'm excited to put our room back together.

Kacie came over and played Fortnite with Peyton, which was a favorite!

New Years Eve spent at home with the family was a favorite for sure! We rang in the new year when the ball dropped in New York by banging on pots. The kids loved it and I loved being in bed long before midnight in Idaho!

The kids played outside in the snow for several hours so when they finally came in, hot chocolate was waiting for them!

On New Year's Day I took a little nap and these two crashed my party, which I wasn't upset about!

The kids new favorite thing to watch in our house is Would You Rather?

I hope you've had a great week and first few days of January! We're trying to fight off being sick but we have a big weekend of celebrating ahead of us!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! We're nearing the end of summer break and it's making me so sad. Next week is our last week before school starts and I'm not ready. I'm sharing a few favorites from our week...

Colson attended middle school orientation and my heart about couldn't take it. This was the one and only picture I took because...not cool! He had a great time and I think having two days of orientation makes middle school not so scary!

I made these two a tray lunch and they loved it!

Colson is going to be playing quarterback this year so we had a friend come over and help him. Dakota plays quarterback in college and was so kind to spend his evening helping. Practices have been cancelled due to air quality and so having a yard full of boys is a favorite!

Charlee Jo's outfit picks are my favorite. I mean...she's just beating to her own drum and I love it!

My least favorite of the week...our community is experiencing a terrible wildfire. They have evacuated so many people already from their homes. It's scary and sad to watch. If you could life our community up in prayers it would mean the world. I know there are so many wildfires in our country right now. We need to pray for everyone that's affected.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. We're praying for rains!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!! This week started with nothing on our schedule and quickly filled up! We enjoyed our week so so much!

I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika today to share our favorites from the week!

We puzzled and put together two puzzles this week! Both were finds on Amazon and are perfect for summer days when it's way too hot to be outside!

After we put them together we pull them apart and put them back in the closet to pull out and do again at a later time. I've done every puzzle at least three times. I love to add a new one occasionally. Here are some "summer" puzzles from Amazon right now!

Amusement Park // Ocean // United States

We got to meet our great nephew this week! Charlee was in heaven with a baby. She didn't want to get too far away from him and even convinced Jo to let her hold him.

I took the kids to run errands this week and Peyton got a blister on his feet so his big brother offered to carry him everywhere and it was my favorite watching them!

Buying school supplies is my favorite, but I'm not ready yet!!!!

I gave each of the kids two wipes and told them whoever had the dirties wipes got a prize. They cleaned and I paid each of them $2 for working so hard!

My favorite way to spend my mornings...

Also, I love quiet mornings. Diffuser pumping, Daisy, and just me.

Peyton's favorite part of the week was hanging out with a friend at Wahooz!

I hope you've had a great week! This is our last calm weekend before the crazy and I'm really looking forward to it!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you've had a good week. I'm sharing some favorites from mine!

Colson and I got to hang out with Henry this week and these two were the best. They played and laughed, it was so fun watching Colson be so tender and loving to him. We had the best time!

Charlee and Peyton went to Cascade with Grandma Jo this week and had the best time. They went fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding. Peyton is going to ask for a paddle board for his birthday!

So thankful for Jo! My kids always have the best adventures with her!

Daisy loves Norman, the highland cow that lives next door. She really wants to play and Norman could care less that there is a dog a fraction of her size next door.

Colson lost a bet to his friend and shaved his head. I thought he would hate it but he ended up really liking it. It's so much cooler for the summer and I told him it will grow before school starts!

Well, Peyton got home from Cascade and asked for the same haircut. Travis and I have been trying to talk him into a haircut for awhile but he hasn't wanted one. I think they look good with a buzz cut!

I took Colson and his friend golfing this week. They both loved it but it was way too hot!

Charlee learned how to blow bubbles this week too!

I hope you have a great weekend!
