Skillet Apple Pie

We love apple pie in our house. However, I don't love making apple pie. I'm not a fan of peeling and cutting up apples. So when my father in law brought me this recipe to make, I was so excited when I read the ingredients!

Here's what you'll need....
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
-2 refrigerated rolled pie crusts
- One 21-ounce can apple pie filling
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

What You'll Do...

Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2 - Melt the butter in a 10 - inch skillet

Step 3 - Set aside 1 tablespoon of the butter for the top crust

Step 4 - Add the brown sugar and melt them together on medium heat, about 2 minutes

Step 5 - Remove from heat and place one of the pie crusts in.

Step 6 - Pour the apple pie filling in and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon sugar.

Step 7 - Cover with the second pie crust and brush on the butter. Sprinkle on the remaining cinnamon sugar.

Step 8 - Cut vents in the middle of the pie and bake for 30 minutes.

Step 9 - Serve warm with salted caramel ice cream.

This is so easy and so Yummy!
Enjoy!
