Friday Favorites

It's Friday! I'm so happy it's Friday. I don't know why it's so hard being on vacation during part of the week but it is. Yesterday was my first normal day and it was busy!!! This weekend will be busy also but I'm excited to be celebrating a very special lady's birthday!

Last Saturday my mom and I went and got manicures and pedicures. I really enjoyed it. Being pregnant, I could seriously get a pedicure once a week. And a pre-natal massage! :) I was leaving for Sun Valley on Sunday and so it was a little pampering that I appreciated greatly!

This was our drive on Sunday. With all of the fires in our area, I can't believe how smoky it is. This picture really doesn't do it justice. The smoke was so thick. It makes for a great picture but that's about it.

Travis and I went to Sun Valley for a few days. It was a Sinclair conference and they put out these dinosaurs throughout the resort. They were fun and had one for each of the decades that Sinclair has been in business. Also, the flowers at the resort were AMAZING! I can't believe how many there are. The resort was beautiful, the staff was so friendly, and they seriously treated us great! I loved getting to learn some of the history of Sinclair and meet some amazing people.

On Monday we walked around Ketchum. Checked out all the shops and shopped a little.

Then we went to the ski resort and rode the gondola up to the top of the mountain. It was beautiful. It was beginning to look like fall up there and I loved how relaxing it was.

We ate at the restaurant that is at the top. It was wonderful.

I seriously love these adventures with this man!

On Tuesday we attended some meetings and of course, in true Travis form...we were the first ones there! I wasn't sure I would be interested at all but I really enjoyed listening to all of the speakers.

After the meetings we went and saw Dino the balloon that is in the Macy's Day Parade. I couldn't believe how big it was! They said there are 70 people that hold it and maneuver it during the parade.

On Tuesday night we went to a cocktail party and dinner. We don't get dressed up very often but after seeing my husband all dressed up...I really hope that changes. I'm really hoping that the next time he wears a suit isn't in six years. This is a picture of a picture so the quality isn't great, but it's my favorite picture of our entire trip!

We got to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill perform. They really put on a good concert. They seem like great people. I don't know why they don't play more Vince on the radio because his voice is so great.

Coming home to this boy was by far my favorite! We both missed him so much! He told us that he missed baby Peyton the most. #thanksalot #notpickingsides

Even though we missed him, time away together was so nice. Travis works so hard, and I'm grateful for time when he can relax.

My brother and sister-in-law found out they are having a girl this week! I'm so excited for them. I'm excited to know that I can shop for a girl no matter what!
It's also making me anxious for next Friday when we find out what we are having.

Last night was my Grandpa Les's birthday. My family got together to celebrate and it was so nice. I love this man, he's truly an amazing person!

Also, Travis hates that I take 3484345 photos on my phone everyday. I asked him to take a picture with me and he kept making funny faces so I told him I was going to put on of them on-line! This is just for him! :)

And finally, yesterday was September 1st, my favorite day of the year! In my opinion September 1st is the first day of fall. Starbucks brings out their pumpkin spice and all is right in the world again. I went and got a coffee first thing. Yummy!!!!!!!

Happy Friday, hope everyone has the best weekend!
See you Monday!
