Weekend Highlights

Happy Tuesday, friends! As much as I love a long weekend, they always throw me off...This past weekend was very busy but we enjoyed it so much!

Friday was spent with Charlee. We had the best girls day to get her all ready for back to school!

Having friends over for dinner is always the best!

Saturday we spent getting ready to head to Cascade for the night. We were in no hurry to get up there so it was a slow morning. Charlee Jo was having so much playing...

And getting water all over my floor! Haha. I guess she's only little once and it's just water...

Peyton wanted to bed outside with Dad so he found all his trucks.

Until it was time to hit the road! Colson stayed with a friend so it was just the four of us!

We arrived at GG's cabin and everyone was in the mood to snuggle Dad!

Playing at the cabin always makes me smile. GG keeps random things that become toys. I loving seeing what the kids' imaginations come up with. These foam rolls became fuel tanks...

It was cool and so beautiful! We grilled, had a wonderful family dinner, and spread my Grandpa's ashes. It would have been his 93rd birthday on Friday and he loved being on the mountain. It was a great evening.

I've said it a million times but I'll never stop, I'm so thankful for this man. He is truly my best friend and biggest supporter. Saturday wasn't easy. It is hard to be in a place that has always been spent with my grandpa. I have the best memories on the mountain, from a very young girl. It was such a comfort having Travis there to comfort me. He is my favorite person, I'm thankful I get to do life with him beside me.

To end the night, the kids roasted marshmallows for s'mores.

And we visited with one another. It was a great evening.

On Sunday, we planned to play golf in McCall. However, the weather had other plans for us...

It was raining so hard. We decided beer and pizza was a better way to spend our afternoon.

We went back to Jo and Papa Kim's to get the kids before heading back down. One of my favorite views.

Travis was the only one to make it down without a nap...we were all so sleepy!

Travis and Peyton headed out to deliver fuel and Charlee and I watched a movie. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy Sunday evening.

Monday was a quiet day at home. It was a great weekend and I feel prepared for our very busy week ahead. All three kiddos will be in school and an extra curricular activity!

I hope you had the best weekend!
