Sinclair Conference 2023

Travis and I had the opportunity to attend the Sinclair Distributor Conference in Sun Valley this month. They host all of their distributors every two years and it's always an event that we look forward to. This year the weather wasn't great and we almost stayed home. I am so glad we changed our minds and attended. I will say, I hardly got any pictures, but I still want to document this time we had together.

I just want it to be known that Travis and I both are NOT light packers....for three nights, we had way too much stuff. I was laughing while we were packing.

On our way to Sun Valley, we stopped and had lunch in Lowman. It was raining but the view was beautiful.

Since it was raining, we checked in, headed to grab coffee and sat by the fire.
The weather wasn't what we would have liked but we had a lot of time to relax and just enjoy having nowhere to be.

We headed to dinner. It was hosted at the ski lodge, which is beautiful.

On Monday, we had meetings in the morning. We were able to listen to Drew Brees. He was great to listen to. I enjoyed everything he had to say. One thing that really stuck out to me is to show affection to your spouse in front of your children and allow them to be apart of the decision process for important things.

Once meetings were over, we played in a golf scramble. The Trail Ridge golf course is beautiful and we always enjoy playing it.

It started to rain so hard when we had three holes left so I gave up and let the guys finish for us!
However, the views are incredible.

Monday evening we attended a western bbq. It was raining and we cut out early to head back to the hotel to get some sleep. We are not going to turn away an opportunity to relax. 😂

On Tuesday, we attended more meetings. We heard from the HF Sinclair CEO and then headed out to see the Dino balloon that is from the Macy's Day Parade. The size is always shocking to me.

Then, we had an afternoon with nothing to do and good weather. We decided to golf White Cloud. It's apart of the Sun Valley resort but we've never played before. It's a beautiful course as well.

It was easy to see why they named it White Cloud.

After golfing we took a wonderful nap...I told you we really took advantage of relaxing on this trip.
Then it was time to get fancy. We ate the most amazing meal in a beautiful setting.

Now can you see why we needed all those clothes. We changed several times each day. Haha
Next up, Billy Currington. He played in the pavilion at Sun Valley.

Our seats were amazing and the concert was great!

Time away together, anywhere, is my favorite. I never take these trips for granted. The best part of a vacation is always coming home. My favorite place in the world.
