What's Up Wednesday {10/26/22}

Today I'm linking up with Shay and Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here!

It's finally soup season! The weather has cooled off enough over this past weekend and now I feel like I want to eat all the comfort food and soups! We started off wit potato soup, my favorite!

Halloween always makes me think back to my favorite Halloween costume!

Actually, the two years that we dressed up with Toy Story!

I also think back to when we shared we were pregnant!

Charlee is loving Tilly! My sister in law got a new puppy and Charlee is in love…

I can see why, she’s adorable!

This week I'm busing preparing for three class parties, a trunk or treat, and book club that I'm hosting. It's all very fun and festive for Halloween but it's also a lot!

Last year's October book club was my favorite!

I'm honestly dreading taking down my Halloween decor! I have loved having it up this year and I'm not ready for all the work it entails to take it down.......

I've been busy with class party preparations. I made Halloween popcorn for Charlee's class. Prepared a bingo game and make your own monsters for Peyton's class. And bought some food for Colson's.

This week is so busy!

No sports! Yes, you read that correctly. We normally end football and head straight into basketball. This year, we have nothing. I'm looking forward to a couple of months with nothing to do in the evenings, no sporting events on Saturdays. It will be nice to enjoy some family things and the holidays without sports. Also....I see a lot more snowmobiling in our near future.

Although, I love watching my kids play and we always have a big cheering section!

Travis and I just finished this season of House of the Dragon. It was so good. I didn't finish watching all of Game of Thrones but now I'd like to finish that series. I heard that we have to wait two years before season two of House of Dragons comes out...sigh.

I think I'm just like everyone else that likes Colleen Hoover, and I'm currently reading It Starts with Us. You have to read It Ends with Us first. So if you haven't, I highly suggest it.

My favorite play list right now is Nesting with Grace, Sweater Weather. It's perfect for the fall weather we've been having.

I also love old country and Jessica Garvin just put together this amazing playlist.

All things cozy. The top of that list...these amazing slippers! I'm never barefoot so I love a good pair of slippers and these could not be more perfect. Leopard, fuzzy, and comfortable. It is appropriate to wear slippers in public?

ALL THINGS HALLOWEEN!!!! We're excited to have some spooky dinners, attend our church trunk or treat, hang out with friends and enjoy the last weekend of Halloween decorations!

All things turkey! I love all the holiday fun!

It’s hunting season and Travis shot his bull elk opening day! So happy for him!

HAPPY Wednesday, friends!
