Cozy Home for Fall

I had every intention of leaving our back to school decorations up until this week since Peyton didn't start school until last week. I was then going to have a clean slate until I put Halloween decorations up October first. And then.....I saw a pumpkin, we were in quarantine, and September 1st hit. My house instantly became covered in pumpkins and I'm not the least bit sad about it! ;)

Welcome to our home, all decked out for fall...

I just added a throw and some pillows to the church pew.

In the living room, I added some more fall pillows.

I added a few pumpkins to the bread bowl, a pumpkin to the shelves, and...

a tree painted by Colson from several years ago.

The mantle got a banner, a pumpkin, acorns, and hydrangas.

I just scattered pumpkins throughout without over doing it.

Behind the sofa, I added my very favorite sign! Pumpkin spice really is my favorite.
I also added pumpkins to the bottom and the top.

I had zero creativity left in me when it came to the chalkboard so it was kept simple. I do have plans to change it up, but it's not at the top of my priority list.

I like leaving the table simple so I can easily move the tray off if we have company or I want to do a puzzle. So I keep it contained. A fall plate, a jar full of sugary candy, and a pumpkin.

The kitchen has a few pumpkins scattered around...

Pumpkin towels, and a few pumpkins...

More candy. a leopard pumpkin, and an acorn...

The other side of the kitchen....

I kept it simple with a couple of pumpkins...

I'm really looking forward to decorating for Halloween this year! I just couldn't go through September without some pumpkins. They make me so happy!
