Back to School

Happy Tuesday, friends. One of my very favorite traditions is our back to school dinner. It’s accompanied with our house being decorated for back to school as well.

This year looked a little different than normal but Colson still picked our menu and we had our favorite cookies from One Haute Cookie in Eagle if your local!

I picked up the cutest plates to go with our theme this year. Other than those, I just continue to use everything year after year.

We talk about the upcoming school year. He’s most excited to go to a new school and make even more friends. (I wish he was more social…🤪)

Peyton is most excited to see Hallie everyday!

I usually decorate the house for back to school sometime in early August. I keep it simple but I think it helps us get excited to go back.

I got the pencil banner years ago from the Target dollar spot. I changed out the letter board that I haven’t used since I was pregnant with Charlee… and added the old math flash cards.

The basket has our back to school books.

I changed out a couple things on the shelves like the apples and quote…

I love this tiered tray in the kitchen. I just changed out the mugs and added red and white bowls.
