Nashville

Last week, I went to Nashville with some girl friends to attend a friend’s wedding. It was a wonderful trip!

We flew out Wednesday morning and had a great trip there.

I read this book on the way there. All but 2 chapters, it was so good!

When we arrived in Denver is was dark and rainy!
But also such an amazing sight!

We dropped our bags off and headed to Burbon Street!
A Wednesday night is the time to go. It was empty!

Ole Red was recommended to us so we went to try it out.
Everywhere had live performances. The atmosphere was great, the music was good, and the food was amazing!

AMAZING!!!!

We walked down the block and checked out all the bars.

We only went into Kid Rock’s bar.
There were 3 floors along with the roof.

This is from the roof.

We wanted to go into Coyote Ugly but unfortunately Covid made it impossible for the bar to be “normal” but it was still fun to see!

We ended the night with Legendary Ice Cream!

Thursday we ate at 417 Union St. It was a cute breakfast place, decorated with pictures of veterans and pictures from the War. It was small but the food was great!

I felt the need to try chicken and waffles since I was in the south and it was amazing!

The Johnny Cash museum was full of artifacts from Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. I enjoyed reading about him and learned so many things about the man in black.

The drive to Knoxville was beautiful!

On the way, we stopped at Brushy Mtn. Distillery.
It’s located at an old state penitentiary.

We toured the penitentiary and saw the distillery.

I was dropped off at the wedding only to be greeted by this handsome boy!

I enjoyed being able to witness Liza and Chris get married. Their wedding was beautiful and everyone was so nice!

On Friday, we headed back to Nashville!

Ashley had a voice lesson with James Lugo who was so kind and obviously very talented!

We went to Lebanon and went to the shops in their square.
They were all so cute and unique!

3:Sixteen is the CUTEST store! They were closed to prepare for their Christmas open house but when we told the owner we were from Idaho, she let us in! So the three of us got the royal treatment! I’ve followed them on Instagram for a couple of years and it was fun to see it in person!

I also met Annie! We’ve been friends on Instagram for over 8 years! Our schedules happened to match up so she was able to meet us in town!

Back to Nashville to find some murals...

And eat dinner! We ate at Whiskey Kitchen and although the service wasn’t great, the food was!

We were at the airport bright and early to fly home!

Our day of travel was long and full of mishaps but we managed to make it home in time for trick-or-treating!

I loved this trip. I loved being their for Liza’s wedding. I’m so grateful for my Dad, my in-laws, and Travis for holding down the fort so I could go!
