#joceveryday2020 {Week 37}

It’s almost the weekend!!! This week has been extremely busy but such a great one!

#joceveryday2020 Day 253: the best surprise is when Dad comes home and snuggles for a few minutes on days when we aren’t feeling our best. We’re lucky he can come and surprise us!

#joceveryday2020 Day 254: preschool open house! Peyton met his teachers and explored his classroom. He’s so excited to start school next week!

#joceveryday2020 Day 255: three excited kiddos heading off to Nana and Papa’s for the night!

#joceveryday2020 Day 256: he basically gets whatever he wants because of those big brown eyes and sweet personality. ❤️

#joceveryday2020 Day 257: the Webb family is excited that Denver Bronco football has returned!
It’s game day!!! 🏈

#joceveryday2020 Day 258: Peyton started preschool this morning! He was so excited until yesterday when he decided he was just going to stay home. Thankfully the excitement returned once we arrived at school! I know he’s going to love this new adventure and make amazing friends!

#joceveryday2020 Day 259: I love these three so much.
I was thinking the other day how messed up my way of thinking has been. For the last four years when someone asks me what I do I always responded with, ‘I just stay home with my kids’. I just feed them. I just do their laundry. I just clean the house. I just do things for them.
I was really struggling with this recently because I couldn’t find my worth in our family. I wasn’t contributing an income or using the degree that I worked so hard to get. I just stayed at home.
But God has been so convicting lately. I GET TO stay home. I get to cook for my family. I get to make sure my family has clean clothes and a clean home. I get to be the one that gets them off the bus to hear about their day. I GET TO do all these things!
Once I realized that I’m doing exactly what I need to be doing, I’ve found so much more joy in doing those things for my family. I’m far from the perfect Mom, but each day I try my very best.

Happy Thursday, friends!
