I made a large batch of potato soup on Sunday and I've been enjoying it all week long for lunch.
I just love soup in the fall.
Also, I ate apple pie nachos this month, so I can't forget to mention them!
When I start thinking about all the fall things I want to put on our calendar it makes me reminisce about my kiddos from the previous years.
We bought the boys' Halloween costumes over the weekend so it made me think back to last year's costumes. They were my favorite!!!
I know that I'm like the last person to read this book. I'm only a few chapters in but it is so good! Every chance I get, I pick it up and start reading it. I let Colson ride the bus this week and I've been going to the end of the lane a few minutes early in the morning and afternoon so I can read!
My grandma came over on Monday and taught me how to make her famous peanut brittle! It was so fun to be in the kitchen with her. I love spending as much time with her as possible!
Such a fun day spent with her.
I have to retake my science Praxis exam next month. I passed the other subjects but science was tricky! Ha, so I'm studying for that.
That science Praxis exam. I'm also working on being patient about finding out where I'm going to be placed for my student teaching.

This weekend we are getting our family pictures taken and I can't wait!
Girl, Wash Your Face! I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet. I'm also excited because all the fall shows come back this week! Grey's Anatomy looks so good this season!
A lot of baseball!! I’m really hoping the Rockies make it to the playoffs! Come on Rockies!!!!
Since I've been at the school all month, I've had to dress up. Now that I'm back at home most days, I'm in jeans and a t-shirt. I love that I get to pull out my favorite fall t-shirts!
Can you say...WINE! A girlfriend is hosting a wine tasting party and I'm excited to try some new wines. Also, Kovick Kountry Farms opens this weekend. I can't wait to take the boys. They are also having a fall craft fair that my Grandma and I are planning on going to.
All things fall! Next month is Colson's favorite holiday, Halloween and so I'm excited to celebrate that with him. I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but when you have kids, everything is better.
We have a few more fun events on the calendar that I'm hoping we can make happen. The holidays always seem a little crazy around here. I always try and fit way too much into our schedule!
I think that about covers everything!
