I blinked and my baby turned FIVE.
Today we are celebrating at school and at home. We will have his big party with his friends this weekend. I can't believe that we are having a birthday party with friends from school. Five is so big.
This boy loves to be busy. He gets it from his mama. He likes to be doing something all the time.
He is still at the age where he will sit and snuggle me while we watch a movie or in the mornings when he first wakes up.
The other night, he asked me if he could please go snuggle his dad for just 5 minutes before going to bed. I love that we can still get a snuggle out of him.
He asks everyday if he can invite a friend over to play.
This past year he played football and basketball.
He loves to dress himself. Collared shirts are his favorite.
He gets his own drink from the fridge and snacks.
Right now he is into coloring, cutting, gluing, tapping, etc.
He is a talker. This boy can talk.
He doesn't miss anything. When I don't think he's paying attention he will surprise me commenting about what I'm doing or talking about. He is constantly asking questions and trying to figure things out.
Colson is the best big brother. He has truly taken on the role great. He does get jealous but overall, he handles his job great.

I'm so excited to see what this fifth year has in store for him! I'm sure it will be an exciting year! We love Colson and are so grateful to be his parents!
