Weekend Recap

This weekend started out rainy and ended rainy! We had a pretty calm weekend and it was nice.

Friday we stayed in most of the day. The boys and I went to the grocery story early and then had plans to never left the house again.

Travis went duck hunting in the afternoon and evening so we ended up going to dinner with Nana and Papa and then home to set up camp to watch movies and eat popcorn in the living room.

Saturday morning, Colson had basketball. He cheering section is growing!

I love watching this kid play!

After basketball we headed to Target to check out Joanna Gaines new line...it didn't come out until Sunday! We were a day early but this boy loved strolling through Target!

For dinner on Saturday I made a roast. I put it in the slow cooker before we left for the day. Slow cookers and cold weather just go together! I love having dinner made after a busy day.
Although, we went to my in-laws for dinner and watch the BSU game. Travis had roast for dinner last night and said it was still really good! I think it's hard to make a good roast that isn't too dry!

Sunday, I went to church while the boys stayed home.
I made it home in time to watch the Broncos. We are Bronco fans, but I'm hoping their season turns around soon!

Since it was still raining we stayed in and had chicken noodle soup for dinner. I'm going to share the recipe this week on the blog. It is so good! It is easy, however, I make the noodles and they are soooooo good! I think it's worth the extra time but you could easily add in noodles.

I also made cookies and after we indulged...

Colson and I delivered cookies to our neighbors!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Happy Monday!
