It's Workin' It Wednesday!
I'm linking up with Shay and Erika today and the topic is transitioning your summer wardrobe to fall. Let me just start by saying...this isn't a fashion blog!
I do my best to get ready everyday and put on a t-shirt and jeans.
I would call my style...mom style.
I pick things that are comfortable to sit at the computer for homework and chase my kids around.
With that being said, here is how I transition into fall...
This was my outfit yesterday.
It was a little cooler when I was leaving the house so I wore some olive skinnies, tank top, and sandals. I dropped Colson off at school and came home to finish up some homework.
For a quick transition into fall... jean jacket and switch out my shoes for some booties!
This is a common outfit. Dark skinny jeans, tank top, necklace and sandals.
For fall, switch out my necklace for a scarf and booties instead of sandals.
If it was really cool, I could throw on a sweater too.
I love wearing dresses. They are so easy and comfortable. In the summer, I'll have simple accessories and sandals...
For fall, I'll just add a sweater and boots!
A few staples for fall...
I love my utility jacket. I get a lot of wear out of it in the fall months. This one, from Old Navy is really cute and a great price!
A closet staple for me...cardigans! I love putting them on over t-shirts, dresses, tank tops...
This one is cute and it comes in a lot of colors!
And these are my exact booties. I bought them during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but they are comfortable. I can wear them with jeans or dresses so I see myself wearing them a lot this fall!
After writing this blog post, I'm really looking forward to cooler temperatures.
