18 Weeks

I can't believe we are almost halfway there and this is the first blog about this pregnancy! This pregnancy is just not quite as easy than the first, much more exhausting. Having a three year old takes so much energy as it is, let's just add growing a human. I do wish I could enjoy a glass of wine some nights. But, that will have to wait. So far, this has been such a good pregnancy! Besides the sickness!

How far along? 18 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 3lbs.
Maternity clothes? So far I haven't worn anything that is maternity. Most of my clothes fit still, however, I wore jeans last Friday and was so uncomfortable by the end of the night. I bought a few pieces to wear this fall. Right now, dresses are the most comfortable. Also, I can't wait to wear my Gap maternity leggings that I still have from 4 years ago when I was pregnant with Colson. So comfortable. They are the only thing I kept from being pregnant with him.
Stretch marks? No. I use Mustela lotion. It's great and helps so my belly doesn't itch either.
Sleep: Still sleeping great - minus the bizarre dreams. I could live without those.
Best moment this week: I haven't been sick!!! I'm sure after typing that I'll find myself sick again...I'm praying it's gone for good.
Miss Anything? Lunchmeat. Coffee. Energy. Wine.
Movement: I can feel the baby move from the inside but I'm so anxious for Travis and Colson to feel kicks! One of the best parts about being pregnant is feeling and seeing your baby move from inside!
Food cravings: Cake!!! I had my first huge craving over the weekend and after we put Colson to bed, Travis and I ran to Albertson's at 9pm to buy cake! (Grandma Jo was home with Colson) Other than that, I don't have any real cravings.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Lots of queasy but I haven't been sick this week! Smells get me the most. I smell everything. Good. Bad. I smell it.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, and I love it!!!
Gender: Girl. Which means we'll be having a boy. Colson insists that he's having a baby sister. We've had girl clothes bought for us. Many people predict girl, so we'll see.
Labor Signs: No! Too early for that.
Belly Button in or out? In, but I think it's going to be an outie in no time.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Except when I'm really tired, then I'm grumpy.
Looking forward to: Other than fall... my 20 week ultrasound! :)  I can hardly stand waiting...although, I don't have a choice! I can't wait to find out the gender and see the baby again!
