Colson News - 2.5

This age has been so fun, yet so challenging.

Colson Daniel...

...can count to ten on his own.
...names every animal he sees.
...knows his colors.
...is sensitive.
...puppy is a must during nap time and bedtime. [thank you grammy] along with his blue blanket.
...loves fruit snacks, cheese, juice, and treats.
...supper chatty. I love our conversations.
...everything is MINE. everything.
...loves to hide.
...independent. He must do everything himself.
...stubborn. Oh Lord, help us.
...Paw Patrol is his favorite show.
...Austin is his best friend. {he asks about Austin at least a dozen times a day.}
...can wear 2t but 3t is the best fit.

Sleep

While at home he takes at least a 2.5 hour nap, usually longer. Bedtime routine is down and he sleeps through the night 99% of the time. Although going to bed eight means early to rise. Before 7 am most mornings he comes into our room.

Travis and I both love being parents to Colson. We love the joys it brings along with the challenges. We wouldn't change it for the world. I'd say Colson's favorite time is when we are all three together. When one of us is missing, he's always asking where we went. I love that about him. Quality time must be his love language because time spent together always makes him happiest.
Every night before I go to bed I pray that tomorrow I can be just a little better Mama than I was the day before. I'm thankful that Colson forgives me when I'm not as good as I should have been and loves me more each day.
