Six months ago today...Travis and I started dating.
Best six months of my life.
Travis and I have known each other for a long time and I never imagined we would be planning a wedding together.
On December 17th, I went on the last, first date I will ever go on.
Shortly after we started dating, I knew I was going to marry him.
He was not only amazing to me, but to my son.
Travis and Colson instantly became close.
One of my biggest fears was that Colson wouldn't know what it was like having a father. A father that provided for him, loved him, and cared for him. There is no doubt in my mind that Travis is so much more than I wished for. Colson began calling Travis Dad all on his own.
The sweetest words I hear on a daily basis is, "Daddy".
These two share something so special and I love that Colson will be forever loved by both of his parents!
I love being a family.
Travis has the patience of a saint. Not only with Colson, but with me.
He's supportive. He wants me to succeed. He wants us to succeed.
We have fun doing absolutely nothing. There is never a dull moment with him.
He keeps me laughing constantly. He truly is my best friend!
I can't imagine doing life with anyone else.
Next month we will be married. I pray that the next 60 years only gets better. We have a lot to look forward to and I'm so glad Travis chose to spend forever with Colson and I.
