Boys' Easter Basket

As I mentioned on Tuesday, Charlee's basket was way more fun to put together but I managed to find a few things that I know the boys will love!

Again with the Crocs for the boys. Peyton wants orange this year and Colson loves the white ones.

The Jelly Cats have so many fun options. Peyton is obsessed with Weiner dogs and Colson loves Toucans. I feel like Colson might be getting to the age that he's over stuffed animals but I know he'll just put this on his shelf with all his other toucans.

Socks are always needed and also a great filler. These ones are super fun!

I love this color of Stanley. It's the school color and bright!

It wouldn't be an Easter basket without swimming suits. The alligator ones are fun for Peyton and I thought Colson would like the parrot ones. I couldn't find toucans.

Good luck putting together Easter baskets!

Charlee's Easter Basket

I'm so ready for spring. I love the spring weather, holidays, get togethers, baseball...all of it!
I've been looking for fun things to fill the kids' Easter baskets so I thought I'd share.
We keep our baskets pretty simple and fill them with things they're going to need anyways.

Jelly Cat stuffed animals are about the only stuffed animals that I actually love. I've always loved this flamingo, it's so sweet, especially in person.

I usually buy the kids Natives but this year all three requested Crocs. Sigh...

These are my favorite bows. Charlee gets the monthly subscription but these are fun for spring.

All my kids use this size of Stanley and it's perfect for them.

This swimming suit is so cute! I love the little cut out on the side.

Does anyone else go through a million pairs of socks with their kids?

I will also say that I can find a million cute things to put into Charlee's basket. The boys are much harder for me. Bows and cute clothes are much more fun to buy!

Father's Day Gift Guide

Father's Day is just around the corner and today I'm sharing a few ideas incase you're in the market also. Travis and I don't buy gifts for each other but these are a few things he already has, or I think he'd love.

MASSAGE GUN  Travis is always sore (both of us are) and I think this would be amazing to help with all those tight muscles.

PUTTER BALL Travis and the boys love to golf and this looks like such a fun game!

ROCKER SPORTS CHAIR We grabbed a couple of these for baseball and we love them. They fold up easily and they're comfortable.

POLO Travis golfs a lot and wears polos when we're going out also. These look amazing and the reviews are great. They have so many unique patterns, you can find one for any guy on your list.

CRIBBAGE BOARD Travis loves to play cribbage and I love the idea of having a personalized board for him. I thought this one was beautiful but there are so many amazing options on ETSY.

DIESEL COLOGNE This is Travis's cologne of choice. It's long-lasting without being overpowering. It's a great choice.

Happy shopping, friends!

Valentine's Day Favorites

It's almost love day! Do you celebrate? Travis and I don't do anything special. We have a special dinner with the kids and we'll get them a little something from us. We don't go big.

However, I'm sharing a few of my favorite things or items on my wish list...

1. This pan has been on my wish list for awhile now. They are the talk of the town and I feel like I might actually cave and purchase it one of these days. I mean, the color is a high selling factor.

2. I have this diffuser and it's my favorite! It's so beautiful and I diffuse daily so it gets a lot of use.

3. These blankets are the softest. I've purchased for gifts but don't actually own one. Not sure I can justify another blanket in our house but if I could, this is the one I'd buy!

4. I have several of these earrings and love them. They are so festive and light weight!

5. I love matching pajamas and these are so cute for the holiday and into spring. The top can be mixed with other patterns also! I love pink and white together so these pants were love at first sight!

6. We recently purchased this espresso machine and I wish we wouldn't have waited so long. We love it and my coffee intake as increased, although I didn't know that was possible.

7. The Stanley. My favorite cup to drink from! I do drink more water when I have mine filled up and with me. They have so many fun colors know!

Happy shopping, friends!

Valentine's Day: Favorite Things

Happy Thursday!!! On Tuesday, I shared all the Valentine's day decorations that we have throughout our home. We don't do a lot for Valentine's day but I thought I'd share some of my favorite things that would make fun gifts for the women in your life.

ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR // FIVE // SIX // SEVEN

If you ever see me out and about with my kids or without them, chances are I'm carrying around a Bogg Bag because they're my favorite thing ever. I love that you can wash them out or if something spills, it doesn't get ruined. This one is so cute with the hearts!

My favorite earrings of all time. I have these in pink and get compliments on them every time I wear them. They come in a handful of colors!

I love my name bracelets and these ones are adorable!

We were gifted a Minky Couture blanket and I use it everyday. I love the weight of it and it's so soft.

My favorite thing to make for company right now is a charcuterie board and this marble heart board is perfect for Valentine's day. I would keep this out and use it all year!

I just picked up a book for each of the kids and we're going to do a fun dinner. Other than that...we don't do anything!

Gift Guide: Women

These are a few things that would be perfect for your mom, sister, bestie, or even yourself!

It's no secret what color I'm loving lately...

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven

I'm sharing a few of my favorite things, including these sunglass that I wear daily, my favorite Christmas puzzle, and the bag that I love to carry all the things in. I'm also sharing the slippers that are on my list and the blanket that is so incredibly soft! How fun is this Carhartt beanie? I love that they added a pom pom onto their so popular beanie. These shoes are such a splurge but I love the sparkle and how fun to add to your everyday outfit!

Happy Christmas shopping, friends!

Gift Guide: Girls

Today is my favorite gift guide. I have enjoyed shopping for Charlee Jo so much this year. It was so fun put thing guide together.

Charlee Jo and Peyton both play with this flower garden  when they're at the babysitter's house. I think it will be well loved at our house. Charlee Jo is stacking everything right now, so it's perfect for her!

We rarely leave the house without a baby and these babies are so cute. I love that it has both genders.

Charlee Jo is really into doing my hair right now. She loves to brush it and put pony tails in it. I thought this Elsa doll head would be great for her to play with.

Jelly Cat stuffed animals are my favorite! They are so soft and this bunny has always been my favorite.

Magna Tiles are a toy that the kids reach for all the time. They can build so many things with them and this set is great! I keep them in a bag, in the car, so I can take them in the gym while Colson is at practice. We also play with them on the garage doors in the summer. These are my favorite toy!

Charlee got this shopping cart for her birthday and it is played with daily. If Charlee Jo isn't playing with it, the boys are pushing it around. It is well made and something we'll have for a long time.

How cute is this bike? I love the basket on the front and the baby chair on the back. Charlee loves riding the Stride Rider bike but this will be so fun to watch her and her babies.

This pizza shop is also well loved at our house. Peyton got it last year and both him and Charlee play with it. I love Melissa and Doug toys. The quality is great and it encourages imaginary play.

All three kids are getting new a helmet this year. I love these because they can each get a different color but it can grow with them. Charlee is wearing her brothers' old one right now and she doesn't seem to mind but the pink will be perfect for our pink loving girl!

I thought this rainbow stacker was so cute and would be great on a bookcase when it's not being played with.

We don't leave the house without a hair bow and I love these because Charlee wears pigtails everyday! The price is awesome and I might throw them in her stocking!

I love this espresso machine. The kids love making coffee this would be so much fun. I could see Peyton playing with this also.

Charlee Jo plays with her kitchen everyday. I love this kitchen and the simplicity of it!

We have a similar ice cream shop and this is another favorite at our house!

HAPPY Tuesday and happy shopping, friends!

Father's Day Gift Guide

I don't know how we're already to June 8th, but here we are. We finished up baseball last weekend and we have some fun plans coming up this summer, including, celebrating the dads in our lives!

I've rounded up some fun things that I know Travis would like!

 ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR // FIVE // SIX // SEVEN // EIGHT

Goodr Sunglasses  Travis currently has these and reaches for them more than any other pair he has. They are lightweight, don't slip, and they are affordable! They come in so many colors too!

Yeti Backpack Cooler I love the size of this cooler and it's a backpack. With little kids, it makes it nice to throw on your back and have free hands to help with the kids and all the other things we seem to take everywhere with us! This is more of an expensive gift but the reviews are amazing.

Gift Certificate to Golf Course: Travis loves to go and play other courses. It would be fun to get him a gift certificate to a new course or a favorite that he doesn't golf very often.

Golf Balls I feel like we buy a lot of golf balls during the summer....throw some in with a gift certificate and you're good to go!

Cornhole Game  My Dad and Colson made Travis a set of these last year and we love them! We pull them out anytime we have friends or family over. This set comes with a carrying case which would be awesome to take to a bbq. There are so many options.

Portable Speaker I can't tell you how many times we've made the comment that it would be nice to have music to listen to while we're outside. This speaker is awesome for packing and taking outside.

Baseball Ballpark Map One of Travis's bucket list items is to visit every MLB park. When I saw this, I thought it was so cool. It shows where all the parks are and it has push pins to place once you've visited! It would look great hanging in an office!

Yeti Mug Who likes drinking cold coffee when it should be hot??? These mugs are great for Dad to take to work in the mornings full of hot coffee! I know there are several places to get them personalized too. That would make such a fun gift!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

I'm doing my best to be prepared for all the spring "holidays". We have Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Charlee's birthday coming up very quickly.

Shark I think you know you're a Mom when you ask for a vacuum. Our home is all hardwood floor so having a cordless vacuum would make that chore so much easier.
Tory Burch Miller Sandals These are some of my favorite shoes for summer. They are so easy to dress up or dress down. I wore them in a friends' wedding and wear them with shorts and a t-shirt.
Wine Glasses I have broken all of our wine glasses so these are on my list. I love the shape of them and although I don't drink a ton of wine, I like having glasses for when guests come over.
BeautyCounter skincare What Mama doesn't want amazing skin? This skincare set is amazing!
Brumate Do you sense a theme??? I sure love a cold drink so Brumate has some perfect gifts!
Diffuser I run several diffusers throughout my home everyday. I loved the look of this green one.
Mama Jacket My denim jacket is my go to jacket. I wear mine several times throughout the week. I love this Mama one! You could also personalize one with whatever you want!
Logan + Lenora This backpack is so pretty! I love that it can be washed. It would be perfect as a teacher bag or travel bag. They have so many prints to choose from.
Name Bracelets I have some name bracelets with my kiddos names and love these fun ones!

Happy Shopping

Easter Baskets: Little Gentlemen

Today I'm sharing some Easter basket goodies for the little gentlemen in your life. I'll be honest, I didn't have as much fun compiling this list as I did with Charlee's! These are all things that the boys need or would love to have in their baskets!

ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR // FIVE // SIX // SEVEN // EIGHT // NINE

I love sticking books in the baskets and this joke book is perfect for Colson who is all about telling jokes right now. I think it must be a four year old boy thing but any potty talk is hilarious when I found the gas on the loose book, I knew Petyon would love it!

These goggles are the best for kids. They can easily put them on themselves and the strap doesn't pull. We've had ours for three summers now and they are still in perfect condition!

I love these trunks for Colson because they look like expensive board shorts but Target for the win! Gap always has some of my favorite swimsuits for kids and these strips are the cutest!

I like to stick a small game in their baskets and the Zingo game helps kids learn sight words!

What little boy doesn't love some balls they can throw and kick around....

The best summer shoes of all time! The boys have each had a pair every summer. They are easy for them to get on and off and they can run around and play without them slipping off. They can also be wiped clean or stuck in a sink of soap. I love them!

Of course we'll stick some candy in their baskets too!

Kids Gift Guides

This year our holiday shopping will mostly be done online and with all the shipping happening, I'm starting now! I want to make sure that things arrive well before Christmas! I thought I'd share the kids' gift guides with you today incase you're in the same boat!

This Christmas is going to be so magical with Charlee Jo. She's at a fun age where she gets excited about things. She loves her baby dolls so of course this Christmas is going to be full of dolls!

Cash Register// I love this because it encourages open ended play. We have a ton of play food and a shopping cart so this would be the perfect addition. If only we had the space!

High Chair// Charlee is always putting her baby in her highchair so it would be fun for her to have one just the perfect size for her dolls. I love the simple white and the quality is unmatched!

Kitchen// Charlee was gifted a kitchen and it gets used daily at our house. All three kids love it. This was the kitchen I've had my eye on since finding out we were having a girl. I love the color, simplicity, and quality!

Cuddle + Kind// I've always loved these Cuddle + Kind dolls. The company gives free meals with every doll purchased. This flamingo is my favorite!

Doll Cradle// This is such a sweet cradle. It doesn't need to be personalized, but it is a sweet touch. Charlee Jo loves playing with the doll play-pin at Grandma Jo's so I'm sure this will be a hit!

Stroller// This stroller is perfect! I love that it can be used so many different ways. I can see this being a favorite as Charlee Jo grows.

Doll Swing// This is a fun option that is two in one! It's a doll swing but it also comes apart and is the doll carrier or car seat. I love the options with this one.

I've had so much fun looking for all the girl toys this year!

Peyton is going to be the hardest to shop for this year but Colson is obsessed with Harry Potter and LEGOS, so he will be done in no time!

Harry Potter Illustrated // Colson and I have been reading Harry Potter together. One of our friend's loaned us his Illustrated copy and it's amazing! Colson is getting this set for Christmas!

Train Set // We gave this set to Peyton last year for his birthday and both boys pull it out to play with it often. It encourages open ended play and the quality is amazing!

Harry Potter LEGOS // Like I said, Colson has asked for Harry Potter LEGO sets and this one looks like it might actually take him some time to complete.

Indoor Bowling Set // With being stuck inside so much this year, this would be so fun for the kids. If you have a long hallway, it's perfect! Keep them active!

Paw Patrol Boat // The only thing that Peyton has asked for specifically this year is Captain Turbot's boat. Santa better come through with this!

Anywhere Chair // All three of the kids have an anywhere chair from Pottery Barn. They love them. They've held up well so far and get "used" all the time!

I love purchasing toys that can be used in more than one way and will encourage open ended play. With almost any toys, all three of the kids will play together. I also look at the quality of things. If I want them to last, I don't mind spending a little more. Most of the time Pottery Barn has a great sale around Thanksgiving and that's when I've always purchased from them!

Easter Baskets Gift Guide - Boys Edition

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I'm sharing some ideas for Easter baskets for boys. Next year I'll be sharing ideas for girls too! I always try and put fun things in their baskets, however, it's also a great opportunity to sneak in some essentials. They get excited about a new swimming suit and shoes when they are tucked inside the basket! I know that Easter is only a few days away, but this might give you some ideas for upcoming birthdays or if you order off of Amazon, it will arrive just in time!

New Natives are a spring essential for the boys! My favorite are the navy ones. In the past, Colson has picked his own out but this year they are both getting navy! I like Natives over other similar shoes because they don't stink after the boy wear them. They are so easy to clean. I just throw them into the laundry room sink and let them soak. I can also take a magic eraser to them and they look great. They are easy enough to put on themselves. They can wear them in the water so they make great shoes for heading to the splash pad. Okay, I think that's enough about my love for Natives.

A new bathing suit also makes a great basket filler. The boys need new suits but will be more excited about getting them in their baskets than just going to the store and picking them out. Colson would prefer a Pokemon suit and Peyton, a Paw Patrol suit, but Mama likes the patterned suits!

This year the boys are getting new goggles. They both take swimming lessons and Colson always complains about the goggles pulling his hair. The reviews from these are amazing so we're going to try them out. I'm not sure that Peyton will actually wear his but he wants whatever his brother has so they will both get a pair!

Colson is getting a jump rope this year! He loves being outside and he's been learning to jump rope during PE at school. This was such an inexpensive gift and reminds me of the jump ropes we had in school.

I've mentioned before that I'm trying to play more games with Colson and I think he'll love this Uno card deck! He's never actually played Mario Cart but he talks about it. This will be a fun set to play!

Colson and Peyton have been sitting at the counter to color lately and I ordered them this paper roll. I can't wait to give it to them. It was inexpensive and we can leave it in dinning room for them to pull out and color away. I ordered several extra rolls of paper also.

Peyton will be getting these crayons. Colson will be getting these paint sticks!

I love this doctor kit! Colson had a doctor kit when he was about Peyton's age and played with it all the time. I think Peyton would get a lot of use out of this!

Last summer I bought myself a hydroflask and I love it. It keeps my water cold all day. With the boys wanting to be outside all day and going to the splash pad, their water doesn't stay cold. I love the kids sized hydroflasks! Of course Colson and Peyton would each need a different color so they could tell them apart! I also love these handles so they are easier to carry!

I hope you were able to get some ideas! I can't believe Easter is Sunday!

Easter Baskets

Easter is approaching quickly! I love celebrating Jesus' resurrection but I also love the fun family traditions that come with Easter. Colson loves to dye Easter eggs and then find them. I'm looking forward to celebrating this year with our families!

I found the boy's Easter baskets at Target last year. The size is perfect because I don't want a huge basket that I have to fill up with "things". When deciding what to fill them with this year, I went with practical, with a little fun. The boys have more than they could ever need and I can't stand the thought of one more toy! The egg hunt is what Colson is most looking forward to anyway. Oh, and the Skittles...

I also picked up some Easter candy to put in their baskets. The boys participate in two egg hunts each year and we enjoy time with both of our families. I'm looking forward to spring this year and for me, Easter is the beginning of that!

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Christmas Wishlist {Peyton}

This is Peyton's first Christmas and I'm so excited for it! There are so many options for one year olds but since we also have Colson to buy for it is easy to not go overboard. This is a long list but I assure you, he won't be receiving it all. Also, there are a few girl options because we also have Hallie to buy for and they are the same age!

Little people are my favorite toys for this age. They can be an investment but Colson played with his Little people for several years, so it is worth the money. They have so many options so I just picked a couple of my favorites.

This is one of my favorite sets. It is a large barn that has several pieces that can be added on later, such as a tractor. This will really encourage imaginary play and we don't have to worry about tiny pieces making into the mouth!

I came across this at Target and thought of Hallie. It introduces letters, colors, counting, music, and encourages babies to move! I've been know to throw dance parties in my kitchen from time to time to anything that encourages dancing is a plus!

I've heard great things about Scout since Colson was little but we've never owned one. This also introduces letters, numbers, and social skills.

So many of these toys help with motor skills, introducing shapes and colors, numbers, and this will keep Peyton on the move!

I love this brand of toys. I wish I would have kept all of Colson's toys from B. but we only have a couple. I love that these are gender neutral and you can never go wrong with blocks.

These are perfect to go along with the Barn. You can never have enough animals on a farm, right?! These are the perfect size to put in the stocking!

I love the idea of having something to build on. We had so many Mega Bloks for Colson and they got used a lot. It is a great for boys and they have some for girls also.

For the little lady on your list. This is a great alternative to the traditional doll house. It's the same concept but it you don't have to worry about anything going in their mouths.

This might be my favorite Little People set! We all love construction equipment in our family and Peyton loves watching his Dad and Papa Kim. This is perfect for our little guy.

10 // CAT Quad
Although we aren't ready for this just yet, it won't be long. Colson has a big 4-wheeler that gets Peyton excited every time he watches his brother ride it. When I came across this, I knew it had to be on the list!

11 // Zany Zoo
This offers a lot of entertainment. Each side has a different activities. This could easily be moved from room to room which is important because so many toys have a lot of pieces which isn't helpful when I need to grab a toy to bring into the bathroom while I'm getting ready in the morning, or in the kitchen while I cook dinner. I love this brand, and love all the options this one toy offers.

Obviously we need some Mega Bloks to go with the table! These are an inexpensive toy that kids love! They also have girl colors if you have any girls on your list.

A few things that might make it into Peyton's stocking are these fun balls that all have different textures and these blocks. Colson had both of these at Peyton's age and loved them!

There are a lot more toys on Peyton's wish list, but both of the boys will receive some books and probably a new set of pajamas because I love buying pajamas!

Happy shopping!

Christmas Wishlist {Colson}

This year I hope to have my Christmas shopping done before December. That doesn't leave me very much time. Travis and I only have kids to buy for this year. That also includes two teenagers, which might be the hardest to buy for on our list. I thought I would share what is on the Christmas lists for those that we are buying for this holiday season.

Colson will be five in January and he loves to build things. Although, he still loves playing with cars and imaginary play. Colson has so many toys that I would love to see him get things that will encourage him to build and learn.

I love that this is a game that promotes learning. Colors, numbers, counting, sorting, and early math skills will be used while playing. This is great for individual play or with two people.

2 // Nerf Gun
Colson has been asking for a Nerf gun for awhile now. I think this particular one is too big but he wants a big one! He loves imaginary play so this is one of the toys that is one the list.

Colson has one set of these and loves them. He is always building with them. He is always needing more to make some creation. There are a lot of sets to choose from or just a basic set. I love the dinosaur set because he loves playing with dinosaurs, but there is also a set to build cars. Both are on his list!

We have so many Legos. Most of the Legos started out as a set and have all ended up in the Lego tub. This book looks great to help make new creations out of all the Legos we already have. Colson always wants to build things and this will be helpful!

Colson has been asking for a watch and while I was researching watches I came across this one. Although I love the idea of a smart watch, this is great because it helps them learn to tell time with an analog clock. It also wouldn't be the worst thing if it got lost. I'm not sure he will keep it on all the time and it has me hesitant to buy him a smart watch.

I spent some time reading about different smart watch options for kids. This is at the top of Colson's list. I like the idea of the VTech watch, however, I like what the Garmin has to offer at about the same price point.  Some of the features that I like: It's waterproof. This is a must for a five year old. It has an internal battery that lasts about a year so we don't have to worry about charging it. I can sync it to my phone and Travis's phone so we can monitor activity, steps, and sleep. I can turn on a timer so that in 30 minutes it will go off and Colson will know he needs to come and help with dishes or pick up his toys. You can have it shut off automatically and turn on again so I don't have to worry about him messing with it while he should be sleeping or paying attention at school.

Colson is really into TMNT right now. He's mentioned that he would like some action figures and always looks at them while we are strolling the toy isle at Target. These might be a good thing to stuff in his stocking.

8 // Qwirkle
I've been trying to encourage Colson to play more board games. The weather doesn't allow us to spend much time outside and I like to limit the amount of screen time Colson gets. He would sit and watch television all day if we let him. I love the Qwirkle is matching shapes and colors, both things that he is learning about at preschool.

Another board game. This game is also one that he will be practicing math skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction without even realizing it.

Some stocking stuffer ideas include: some glow sticks. He loves putting them into the bathtub and they provide a lot of entertainment for not a lot of money!
While walking through Walgreens a few months ago, he spotted a Pocket Racer and really wanted it.
He is getting a few Monster Jam Trucks  that I've picked up at TJ Max.

I hope that this list will help you if you have an almost five year old boy on your list!

Gifts for Mom

Mother's Day is just over a week away, so I thought I'd share some fun gift ideas for the mom(s) in your life!

1 / / Personalized jewelry is always perfect. I have a necklace from Layered and Long with both of my boys names on it and I wear it all the time. I can keep them close to my heart this way.

2 / / I don't know about all the other moms, but I'm always tired. I believe that as a parent, you just accept that and do your best. A fun tee for any mom!

3 / / I'm never one to wear anything but shorts and a tee to bed, but there are so many cute pajama sets out right now. I'm especially loving these.

4 / / I love to read Shay's blog and I've made several of her recipes. If you've read my blog for any length of time then you know Colson also loves to help me in the kitchen. Shay has five cookbooks and these three are definitely on my wish list.

5 / / I recently bought a personalized cuff from Farmgirl Paints and I love it. She has so many different cuffs to choose from and you can have it personalized with anything you can think of. I don't think you can go wrong with some fun personalized jewelry.

6 / / I love a good neutral sandal that I can wear with anything. I've heard amazing things about these sandals. They are comfortable, cute, and practical to chase your toddler around the playground.

7 / / Caffeine is a must for me. It keeps me going through out the day with my two boys and I love drinking my coffee out of a cute mug. These mugs from Anthropology are just one option out of the adorable mugs.

I'm looking forward to being with my boys, attending church, and then a big family bbq. We don't exchange material gifts at holidays, and if you fall into this category too, just remember to give your mom some extra love! I promise that it's the best gift she will receive!
