Boys' Easter Basket

As I mentioned on Tuesday, Charlee's basket was way more fun to put together but I managed to find a few things that I know the boys will love!

Again with the Crocs for the boys. Peyton wants orange this year and Colson loves the white ones.

The Jelly Cats have so many fun options. Peyton is obsessed with Weiner dogs and Colson loves Toucans. I feel like Colson might be getting to the age that he's over stuffed animals but I know he'll just put this on his shelf with all his other toucans.

Socks are always needed and also a great filler. These ones are super fun!

I love this color of Stanley. It's the school color and bright!

It wouldn't be an Easter basket without swimming suits. The alligator ones are fun for Peyton and I thought Colson would like the parrot ones. I couldn't find toucans.

Good luck putting together Easter baskets!

Charlee's Easter Basket

I'm so ready for spring. I love the spring weather, holidays, get togethers, baseball...all of it!
I've been looking for fun things to fill the kids' Easter baskets so I thought I'd share.
We keep our baskets pretty simple and fill them with things they're going to need anyways.

Jelly Cat stuffed animals are about the only stuffed animals that I actually love. I've always loved this flamingo, it's so sweet, especially in person.

I usually buy the kids Natives but this year all three requested Crocs. Sigh...

These are my favorite bows. Charlee gets the monthly subscription but these are fun for spring.

All my kids use this size of Stanley and it's perfect for them.

This swimming suit is so cute! I love the little cut out on the side.

Does anyone else go through a million pairs of socks with their kids?

I will also say that I can find a million cute things to put into Charlee's basket. The boys are much harder for me. Bows and cute clothes are much more fun to buy!

Spring Touches

This past weekend felt like the perfect time to pull out all of our Easter and spring decorations. Now our home is officially ready for spring!!

I always pull out my favorite quilt from my Great-Grandmother. It’s so colorful, which is perfect for this time of year. Also, I finally hung the pictures of the kids in the entryway!

A look into the living room.

I keep things very simple this time of year. If I’m being honest, Christmas is the only time of year I like a lot of decorations. Any other time of year, it’s too much!

A couple spring things on the shelves and Easter books in the basket on fireplace.

The sofa table has some bunnies that I’ve found at TJ Maxxz along with a Vine and Branches sign and my favorite egg decorating picture from 7 years ago.

This year, I added a lot more color and fun to the chalkboard. I also added the banners that I normally hang from the mantle.

The kitchen has a few spring touches…

I took out the china and added some color.

My favorite dish towels…

And a fun tulip print that I found on Etsy!

I love changing things in our home for the seasons.
Happy spring, friends!

Easter Fun

This year Easter felt off but we still made some fun memories! I have about 104749 pictures of Charlee and about 4 of the boys. I followed her around to help her and the boys took off!

We colored Easter eggs on Saturday night. I’m not sure why I always leave it for last minute but I do.

I had every intention of returning to church for Easter service but everyone was still asleep when we needed to leave so I watched it online. This boy joined me!

Two cuties watching church with me!

Time for baskets!

And off to look for eggs.

This one had more fun playing!

Time for the count...

My family came over for brunch.

And Travis hid the eggs again so the cousins could find them!

Sister kept re-hiding her eggs!

Cuties.

We spent the afternoon playing and enjoying the company.

Off to Jo and Papa Kim’s house!
Papa Kim wasn’t feeling well so he missed out.
Egg hunt first...

And after dinner the kids played with their Easter goodies from Jo and Papa!

And a ride on her chariot! 😉

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Easter Baskets: Little Gentlemen

Today I'm sharing some Easter basket goodies for the little gentlemen in your life. I'll be honest, I didn't have as much fun compiling this list as I did with Charlee's! These are all things that the boys need or would love to have in their baskets!

ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR // FIVE // SIX // SEVEN // EIGHT // NINE

I love sticking books in the baskets and this joke book is perfect for Colson who is all about telling jokes right now. I think it must be a four year old boy thing but any potty talk is hilarious when I found the gas on the loose book, I knew Petyon would love it!

These goggles are the best for kids. They can easily put them on themselves and the strap doesn't pull. We've had ours for three summers now and they are still in perfect condition!

I love these trunks for Colson because they look like expensive board shorts but Target for the win! Gap always has some of my favorite swimsuits for kids and these strips are the cutest!

I like to stick a small game in their baskets and the Zingo game helps kids learn sight words!

What little boy doesn't love some balls they can throw and kick around....

The best summer shoes of all time! The boys have each had a pair every summer. They are easy for them to get on and off and they can run around and play without them slipping off. They can also be wiped clean or stuck in a sink of soap. I love them!

Of course we'll stick some candy in their baskets too!

Easter Basket: Little Ladies

I am ready for spring. I can't wait for warmer temps and travel. I feel more prepared for Easter than in years past. I'm not sure why, maybe because we're still at home a lot. Maybe I am anxious for something to celebrate. Either way, I've been collecting things for the kids baskets and I found some fun thing to share. I love all the lavender this spring!

One of my favorite things to do for Easter baskets is purchase things that I'm already going to need to grab for the kids. It's the perfect way time to get the kids a new swimming suit for the season and a pair of rain boots. I saw these cute bags and they come in so many colors! I usually stick in some sidewalk chalk, candy, nail polish, and a couple of bows too!

I was on the hunt for new baskets this year since Charlee doesn't have one and I found the perfect one at Target for such an affordable price. I think the size will be perfect! I can reuse them every year!

Weekend Recap: Easter Edition

This post has taken so much energy. I wrote it twice on Sunday, once yesterday y and it never saved. The photos uploaded sideways once. And I never could get them to upload to my computer. So...here we are.
It's up but it's late!

This Easter looked so different from Easters in the past. It was still nice to be with family.

I'm sharing our weekend top ten in hopes of not sharing the hundreds of pictures on my phone from over the weekend.

First up, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen over the weekend. I made eight cakes total last week.

The boys decorated cookies that Aunt Emily gave them. They had so much fun decorating them and eating them!

I'd say these cookies couldn't be cuter! ;)

They also colored Easter eggs! We decorated 18 eggs on Friday and then Dad came home and said we needed more so we did 18 more on Saturday!

The Easter bunny normally hides our eggs while the kids and I are at church so this year he had to hide them the night before with a head lamp!

Friday night the boys had a treat in the living room with a movie!

I was able to watch the Good Friday service at church while they watched their movie.

The service ended with just enough time to get a few snuggles!

The kids woke up at 6:30 so excited that it was Easter....
Peyton and I watched church online...

Made resurrection rolls...

And then Dad woke up so we could see what was in the Easter baskets!

We hunted a lot of Easter eggs....

And then again with Grandma Jo and Papa Kim.

Snuggled way past our bedtime!

But most importantly spent the weekend together with my favorite people!

I hope you all had a great weekend!
