#joceveryday2020 {Week 31}

Happy Thursday from Nashville! I hope you’re having a great week!

Day 280: such a good little Mama.

Day 281: Peyton is so proud of his Pete the Cate! September book club is complete! And we have a new favorite book!

Day 282: pumpkins make me happy! Especially the two little pumpkins on top!

Day 283: Colson is very neutral but Peyton has told me since he could talk that Dad is his favorite so I'm happy to finally be someone's favorite around here!

Day 284: the boys had a full day of hunting! I loved hearing all about it once they returned!

Day 285: it's 2020, you never know what's going to happen. Tonight was loud and wild but everyone had fun. I'll call it a win!

Day 296: learning to sew from the best!

Day 297: I know there will come a time when she no longer wants to match her Mama so until that day comes, I'm going to buy us matching outfits!

#joceveryday2020 Day 288: 🤞🏻 that we all get a good night sleep tonight. Sister partied for a few hours last night and that meant coffee for all of us this morning! Who am I kidding, I need coffee every morning. A lot of it!

#joceveryday2020 Day 289: I love Travis for a lot reason but this is #1! I called him while he was at work today to come kill the snake that greeted me in the garage and within minutes he pulled up. The boys thought it was so awesome!

#joceveryday2020 Day 290: of course Peyton talked Kacie into gutting his pumpkin. 🎃 So much fun tonight!

#joceveryday2020 Day 291: a little Sunday night baseball. ⚾️

#joceveryday2020 Day 292: we can always find excitement! Luckily we won’t have to look very hard for the next few months while our neighbors build their house!

#joceveryday2020 Day 293: kids really are the bright spots in our lives! I’m grateful for these three!

#joceveryday2020 Day 294: Instagram vs. Reality

It’s so easy to look at what others are putting on Instagram and start comparing. Our homes. Our bodies. Our hair. Our marriage. Our relationships. BUT there is always messy. Always. If someone tells you that every one of those areas are perfect they are lying to you.

I wouldn’t trade my life for anything. I’m blessed. But, there is stuff that I don’t put on Instagram because who wants to look and hear about messy. We get enough of that in the news.

Just a reminder to focus on YOU and stop comparing your life to what you see on social media. ❤️

#joceveryday2020 Day 295: I went with Peyton today on his field trip to the fire station. It took some major convincing to get this picture.

#joceveryday2020 Day 296: I yell and get mad. I loose my temper. I get frustrated. But I never want them to question that they are loved.

💙

Today was a heavy day in our community. It makes you hug your kids a little tighter and tell them you love them 16395826 times.

#joceveryday2020 Day 297: wine tasting with these ladies today!

#joceveryday2020 Day 298: me waiting for the Denver Broncos to beat the Chiefs. 🤞🏻 for a better game in a December. 10 consecutive loses against them is a bit too many.

#joceveryday2020 Day 299: I’m so glad he’s home. ❤️

We are rarely away from each other, just the way I like it!

#joceveryday2020 Day 300: they are his models. He’s drawing them even though they aren’t the best at sitting still!

Also, how are there only 65 days left in 2020!? I’m not complaining at all!

#joceveryday2020 Day 301: hello Nashville!
