Weekend Recap: Easter Edition

This weekend was FULL of fun!

Friday, Peyton helped me bake a carrot cake for Easter. This was the first time he actually helped me in the kitchen and it was so fun.

Baking can make you so tired!

After I found him lounging in the pantry, I laid down with him for a quick rest! I love this one on one time I'm having with him while his big brother is in school and before Charlee joins our family.

Friday night I had to run to a friend's house and they recently got some Alpacas. The boys were in heaven!!! Riley was so awesome to just let the boys "help" him.

Having a chat...

Of course we can't leave without a picture with Oliver!

We came home and the boys played outside while Dad worked! He's working so hard on getting our house in great shape.

Saturday morning we headed to the car dealer to get my car serviced and Dutch Bros is a very short walk away. The boys and I took off for some coffee...

Then to Chucky Cheese for a birthday party! The boys had the best day and were so tired by the time we left! They had fun celebrating Robbie!

When your brother gets a turn and you don't.....

Saturday night my parents stopped by and we colored Easter eggs. They boys had so much fun and it tested their patience. Waiting for an egg for longer than 10 seconds is HARD!

The boys and I had an early morning on Sunday. We attended the early, 7:30 church service so we could fit everything in  for the day. We may have been a few minutes late...but we made it!

When we got home we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Easter bunny had been there!

New shoes are fun when they are in the Easter basket! #momhack

My family came over for brunch and more Easter surprises...

Then we headed outside to find all the eggs that the bunny had hid! Thankfully, he found them without any trouble!

After naps, we headed to my in-laws and had another egg hunt followed by dinner! I didn't take many pictures but I love all the "kids" playing!

So happy to celebrate Easter and our risen Savior with family!

I couldn't stop laughing at this picture! Where's Peyton!? :)

I hope you had a great weekend!
