Friday evening we had pizza Friday and a low key evening at home. Colson worked on picking up his room basically all evening.....and Peyton worked on making a huge mess in his room. Meanwhile, I worked on getting a head start on laundry because it's never ending. Travis worked on a project for work. A low key Friday night, just the way I like them.
Saturday morning started when Peyton woke up at about seven. I got busy with things for school while he watched Paw Patrol and we enjoyed the fire and tea.
Saturday afternoon we took Colson to How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. He loved it! Travis and Colson love all the dragon movies and this is no exception. Colson loved the special time with us also. First, we stopped for lunch and he chose Carl’s Junior. It certainly wouldn’t have been my first choice but he loved it!
Saturday night we enjoyed some games after dinner. I'm really trying to play more board games and card games with Colson. I love that they are a great way to spend time as a family and he's learning or using skills while still having fun!
Sunday morning we finally made it to church! I've been sick for about a month and so we've skipped church. This weekend we managed to make it back. If you don't have a church that you love, I highly recommend finding one. Eagle Christian Church has been the church the kids and I attend for several years and I look forward to going every week.
We came home and got busy in Colson’s room. The boys are going to share a room and I had plans for them to share Colson’s room. Once Travis put together their new bed, I changed my mind! It took all afternoon to semi put things together. It’s nowhere near finished. I can’t wait to share their room once it’s all put together!
