Happy Friday, friends! I'm linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to bring you some favorites from our week. This week is short and sweet!
First up, it's our FAVORITE person's birthday today!!! We love you Travis!
I saw this posted on Facebook and it couldn't be more accurate! I haven't seen Bird Box and don't plan to after reading what some of my friends have said about it. However, this is so true!
On Sunday, I was 18 weeks with baby! This pregnancy is going so quickly. I think it's the time of year and everything we have going on.
Colson drew this picture and I'm always so impressed with his drawings! He can spend hours at his desk making things and drawing. Putting a desk in his room was one of the best ideas.
For New Year's Eve this year we had plan of pizza and Jurassic Park but Colson ended up staying the night with a friend. Travis, Peyton, and I went to Albertson's and bought whatever looked good. We ate in the living room and snuggled while the count-down was on. None of us made it past 9:30!
On Wednesday night Travis and Colson finally watched Jurassic Park together. They had to pause it to eat dinner and Colson told me "it's the greatest movie ever and thankfully it isn't over yet!" Twice during the movie he said, "Some people would be scared right now, but I'm not." He also made his way into Dad's chair during both of those scenes! Haha!
The next morning he came into my room and proudly informed me he didn't have any scary dreams!
January is full of birthdays in our house! Travis, Colson, and Peyton all get celebrated this month! I love celebrating birthdays so I went a little over the top this year! I normally change the chalkboard with each birthday, however, I knew I wasn't going to be up for that so I just did one for all of them. I also made a balloon garland for our mantle. I'm not sure how long it's going to last, but our first celebration is tonight! If it makes it two weeks, I'll consider that a major win!

This pregnancy my favorite choice of beverages is decaf hot tea or Capri Sun! I’m constantly sneaking Capri Sun so my kids won’t see and want one! I especially love the tropical!
