Weekend Recap: Gone Fishin'

This weekend was a long one with so much going on!

Friday we loaded up and went to pick up parts for Dad, with the sunroof open! The weather was beautiful! We're ready for spring.

We stopped at Nana's office in Eagle which is by the river so Colson and I walked down to throw some sticks in. He was in heaven!

Friday night GiGi and Papa Les came over for pizza and Colson was so excited! He gave GiGi the biggest bear hug that I have ever seen!

Saturday morning was so relaxing. We drank our coffee....talked some more about our home...

put together some Legos....

It was a nice morning.

I let Colson sleep every last minute I could before I had to wake him. We had a showing on our house and with Colson not napping for three days in a row....I was determined to let him get a good nap!

Saturday night we stayed up and watched Frozen. Dad fell asleep so he missed the picture. (I'm sure he's really bummed he didn't get to take another picture!)

Sunday morning I woke up and saw that Manning announced he would retire...
I broke the news to my husband and then....

headed off to church!
(If you've been around this blog for any length of time then you know how much love my husband has for Peyton Manning. It's a bummer that he is going to retire.)

Driving home from church and Colson pulled out these...he stole them from CHURCH!
I turned around and made him take them back.
Please tell me our three year old is not the only one that stuffs everything he can into his pockets!

We stopped by Grandma Jo's on the way home and Colson talked us into staying for a few hours so Mama got a giant Diet Coke and had some time alone.

My alone time consists of test taking these days!

We had a viewing for my Great-Aunt that passed away Sunday evening.

I then took off for a girls fishing trip!

We went to Riggins for the Women with Bait tournament.

We didn't catch any Steelhead, but had it was a great experience.

The boat ride was beautiful and fishing was extremely relaxing!

I'm grateful that my sister-in-law got me out of my comfort zone to try something new.

Our boat of ladies!

I may not be much of an outdoor girl but this was a very fun experience!

I had a great time, but I'm happy to be home with my boys now!
And, it's already Wednesday, so only a few days until our next weekend!
