Show & Tell Tuesday: High School

I'm linking up with Andrea today for Show & Tell Tuesday and today is tell (and show) us who you were in high school!

I dug around and found my old yearbooks and all the pictures I could find.

I grew up in Emmett and it is a very small town where I went to school with the majority of the same people from kindergarten through 12th grade. In 7th grade, all the schools merged together and went to the same junior high and high school.

I graduated from Emmett High in 2008.
One of my best friends growing up since childhood is Kacie, she was a year older than me.
Teylir was my best friend in high school and we did a lot together. We were always together on the weekends and when we weren't working.
Also, Kylie (middle) was with us all the time. I love those girls! Now, we all three have children that are close in age. Heidi (left) is still one of my closest friends. We've lived together and been through a lot together! I love her!

I'm holding the 8 in this picture of our senior class. I was on the yearbook staff for three years and two of those I was co-editor with Teylir. Yearbook was what kept me involved in school. I stopped playing sports when I was a junior so this was my plug.
My senior picture. And I still have this sweatshirt and wear it all the time! Most of these pictures I have blonde hair but looking through my senior yearbook, I went from having short dark hair to long blonde hair.
Teylir and I at Senior Prom.
I loved powder puff in school. My senior year, I was in charge of organizing it and running.
It was during homecoming in the fall.

At the end of my junior year I decided to try out for cheer leading. I participated for a few months and decided it was defiantly not for me. My parents had a rule that if you start something, you finish it. But, luckily for me, there were other issues going on with the program so my parents allowed me to stop just before football season.

 Junior Prom. Love these girls!
My last year of playing basketball was my sophomore year. I decided I would rather work than play sports.

My friend Luz! Love him so much! He asked me to his senior prom.
I think I was the only one that had a short dress to prom....
We went with a fun group of people!
This had to have been the summer of my freshman year. I played basketball with these girls the majority of the time I played.

That's it folks! That was a look into my high school years. I learned a lot and had some really fun memories but I'm so glad I don't have to go back and do it all over again!
